The three-dimensionally stitched leather The leather tissue cover is made of three-dimensionally stitched leather and is simply placed on top. Just by placing the leather tissue cover over the tissue, it blends in with the interior design.

In this class, you can learn the processes of "cutting," "sewing," and "drilling" in leather craft, and especially the "sewing" process, a technique called "skin stitch" that utilizes shoe-making techniques.

STEP.1

Trace the main part part along the pattern with a silver pen.

STEP.2

Use a "dovetail punch" to make a hole at the edge of the tissue removal section.

STEP.3

Cut the leather around the main part with a cutter.

STEP.4

Trace the half-circle parts (x2) along the pattern paper with a silver pen.

STEP.5

Make a hole in the half-circle part with a "scooping needle".

STEP.6

Draw a line 3 mm wide at the edge of the main part with a "binder" to guide the sewing.

STEP.7

Drill a hole with a diamond-shaped hammer (4 mm wide, 6 blades) in the part where the main part is to be sewn.

STEP.8

The part where the body and the semicircle part meet is drilled with a "rhombus hammer (4 mm wide, 2 blades)".

STEP.9

Sew the four corners of the main part with a "single needle". Start by sewing diagonal stitches to the top, and then sew the folded part so that it forms an "O".

STEP.10

The end of the stitch is fastened with two tight knots.

STEP.11

Sew the half-circle part to the corner of the body.

STEP.12

The end of the stitch is fastened with two tight knots.

STEP.13

Fold and strike the part that will be the corner of the tissue box with a hammer to make a habit of it.

STEP.14

Once the habit is established, it is turned inside out to complete the process.
